Christine Engelfried began her love of dance at the age of 3. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a double major in dance and communication studies, her love of movement continues to inform her life through teaching, performing, and processing life and the human experience.

Christine enjoys creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for all of her students where they can experience the joy of movement and savor the gift of this life. Fred Engelfried
Fred Engelfried
Group Fitness Instructor

Fred Engelfried is a NASM-certified personal trainer, Oxygen Advantage Functional Breathing Instructor, and co-founder of Onestyle.  He worked for over 15 years in Los Angeles with a broad range of clientele from athletes, celebrities, models, pre and post-natal mothers, and special needs cases such as rheumatoid arthritis, autism, and multiple sclerosis.

Fred has a personal connection with rehabilitating and reconditioning the body – having experienced two accidents and managing chronic pain for decades. Influenced by Applied Functional Science, DNS, and PRI, he approaches the body with careful respect for joint alignment, dynamic posture, and structural integrity. Through Onestyle, he enhances the biochemistry, biomechanics, and cadence of breathing while integrating conscious movement and guiding clients to listen deeply to their body’s intelligence.

His style of training is best illustrated by one of his clients:

“There is no one word that describes Fred Engelfried. As a trainer, he is focused, hard-working, and creative, and offers rich knowledge of both form and function, physiology and fitness; as a person, Fred is humble, educated, sensitive, and intelligent, and he carries within him a deep integrity and abiding warmth that create true trust and partnership with his clients.” – Cara D.

Fred Engelfried lives in Bellingham with his wife, 3-year-old, and two dogs. They recently moved here from California and greatly appreciate all that Bellingham has to offer. When not training or fixing up their house, Fred enjoys Nordic skate skiing, hiking, and growing food.
