The Bellingham Athletic Club opened its doors in 1975 as primarily a Racquetball facility. While over the years we've added more stuff, racquetball continues to be one of our most popular activities. See how you can get in on the action!

  • Beginner's Clinic- If you have never played racquetball before or need a refresher, there is a free beginner's clinic on Mondays at 6:00 pm. Please call to sign up.
  • Racquetball League - We offer three leagues per year: Fall, Winter and Spring. It is a mixed league with divisions for A through D level players. Open to Members and Non-Members. We also offer a juniors only league.
  • Tournaments - There are three big tournaments each year: The Fall Classic in November, the Winter Shootout in January, and the Northwest Open in March. The Northwest Open is a huge Washington Racquetball Association event, attracting participants as far away as Alaska and Montana! We also participate in a great Juniors two day Event: Racquets Without Borders.
  • Lessons -If you are interested in brushing up your game, we have beginner, intermediate, and advanced racquetball lessons at a variety of times. The Club Pro also holds private and semi-private lessons.
  • Junior Racquetball -BAC has an active Junior Racquetball Program with lesson sessions offered on a monthly basis throughout the school year. Lessons are open to juniors aged 7 - 18 and there are classes for Beginner through Advanced players.

Our current lesson schedule is as follows: Junior class sessions are four weeks in length, with lessons twice a week. Times are generally between 4:00 and 6:00 pm in the late afternoons. Call for more information on the upcoming sessions.

Cost for the eight lessons is $35 for BAC Members and $40 for Non Members.

  • Racquet restringing and Regripping services - We are a member of the U.S. Stringer's Association
