BAC hosts three big tournaments each year: The Fall Classic in November, the Winter Shootout in January, and the Northwest Open in March. The Northwest Open is a premier Washington Racquetball Association event, drawing players from as far away as Alaska, Montana and Oregon. We also participate in a great Juniors two day Event: Racquets Without Borders. And back by popular demand is the 2nd annual BAC In The Swing Tournament.

November 13-15, 2009
A record number of 78 players spent the weekend on the courts at BAC, competing for a chance to take home a turkey, ham or pumpkin pie for their Thanksgiving. We were pleased to have our sponsor Don Cummins participate before heading in for knee surgery in December. We welcomed players from as far south as Olympia and north from British Columbia and points in between. Another record high was set with 25 women participating in singles and doubles. We could not have run the event without the help of our sponsors: Don Cummins and Elite Electrical, Walton Beverage and Pepsi, and Derrick Anderson and Haggen. Thanks to all of you!

Racquets Without Borders #2
BAC, Bellingham, WA
December 5, 2009
20 State Juniors participated on December 5th in this great junior event, where players from Washington vie for honors with the Juniors of British Columbia, Canada. There were upsets and players new to the tournament scene, with 105 matches scheduled to play on Saturday. The courts in Bellingham were full of players from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. January 29-31, 2010 saw 94 racquetball players on the courts for 3 days, playing a lot of quality racquetball! Their generosity and support of amateur racquetball in the Bellingham area makes a huge difference in our programs.
